Distant is a Downtempo / Deathcore band from Rotterdam, the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
After numerous tours around Europe and
their debut EP “Tsukuyomi” in ‘17, Distant took it to a next level by signing to Unique Leader Records. Their first album “Tyrannotophia” was released in ‘19 follow by ‘21s “Aeons of Oblivion” and ‘23s “Heritage” the latest sequel in the band’s lore-based dark story🌙

Mental Cruelty's third album has brought a surprise of musical change. While they kept some of their Slamming Deathcore music, other elements were mostly added that sounded Lorna Shore-esque: a haunting symphonic atmosphere and diabolical Black Metal melodies. I believe that this album attracts me more than their previous albums.
